Some Church History

** This body, at first, was known as "the
Coshocton Baptist Chapel"

** On April 28, 1958 this body was constututed
into a chruch.

** In 1962 property was purchased on Denman
Avenue. White farm house becomes a place of
worship.

** September 1968 CBC borrows $$ from bank to
erect new building

** June 1997 chruch purchases parsonage
located at 1656 Evergreen Park Drive

** 1994 Steeple and Cross put on church

** Spring 1997 Held 40th Anniversary

** 2002 Removed pews and replaced with
padded chairs, converted santuary to
multi-purpose facility, started AWANA ministry,
Bapitized 43 with 10 additions.

** 2003 Plans submitted to state building office
for new building . The parsonage was sold to aid
the chruch build . Church baptized 28 with 3
additions.

** 2003 Ground breaking for the new building
was held on Mother's Day 2003. The work began,
and one year later held first service on Mother's
Day 2004

** November 2004 lower level was completed.

** 2005 Kitchen, fellowship hall and nursery was
completed.
